We have had these similar bulbs on our covered back porch for years. I have been looking for replacement bulbs forever in your typical "brick and mortar" stores with no luck. I found these online and ordered them to see if I liked them. They were the exact size and color needed to replace our burned out lights. They came packaged well and no bulbs were broken. I will purchase these again when the time comes...hopefully not soon!

My daughter was having her wedding reception in an open air pavillion and wanted to have globe lights hung from the center rafters as well as along the open sides of the pavillion. I ordered 8 strands of 25 feet for the perimeter and 2 strands of 100 feet to hang across the center rafters and 400 bulbs. The only other lighting in this pavillion, which was approximately 80'x 40', were two small chandeliers. I received them all in a timely manner and not even a single bulb was broken! My son-in-law and I personally installed the lights, putting the strings up first and then screwing in the bulbs, as I read somewhere. Not a single bulb broke. Fantastically, the amount of light from these bulbs totally lit up the pavillion and we only had 1 bulb out of the 400 burn out. These bulbs are no more fragile than a regular light bulb and if you use reasonable care installing them you should have no trouble with them breaking. The price for these bulbs and light strands was impossible to beat. We were able to buy all of this lighting and install it for one half of what it would have cost to hire a professional company to rent lights and install/remove them and we owned the lights after the event was over. We even gave some of the lighting to family and friends who because they were so impressed.  Most importantly, my daughter was thrilled with the ambiance these lights created for her wedding.

I highly recommend Novelty Lights Inc. to anyone who is looking for light bulbs. I purchased G-50 bulbs in error, so I requested for an exchange. The customer service was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of their products, The whole exchange process phone call took about 3 minutes. And best of all, I got my new bulbs in just 3-4 business days. The bulbs fit perfectly, and the color is exactly what it shows online. So far I have been using them everyday for about 3 weeks without any problems, I will reorder from them in the very near future.

These lights are beautiful, but you need to be very careful handling them and screwing them in. I had a few break during shipping and a few break during instal. The company sent replacements, but I wish they hadn't broken in the first place.

My wife purchased these for the purpose of making our backyard fun and pretty. And let me tell you, she LOVED these lights. Happy wife, happy life. From a guys perspective, they work perfectly. The price was right and they seem durable.

These are great bulbs, just remember to order the cord too! We used them for my patio party and they created an amazing party atmosphere. However they are pretty fragile and I broke a bulb already. Luckily, they are not the type of string lights that won't work if one bulb is missing, so all is well. Ordering an extra box for replacements is probably a good idea!
