These globe lights are holding up well outdoors. We use them in front of our restaurant to light up the overhang at the front door. Our old incandescent lights burned out after only a few months, but these are working great so far. The color is great too and we cannot tell them apart from the incandescents.

The additional cost is hard to swallow, but it is worth it for a longer lasting bulb, especially when we do not have to replace them constantly!

You will love these bulbs, you cannot tell they are LED and they provide more light than a standard incandescent bulb. Another awesome thing is that they use substantially less power.

My only complaint is that these break more easily than I would like as they are glass. The bulb will continue to function without the globe though, although that's probably not a great idea. I have had for about 18 months, and I have about 7 broken ones to date out of the 100 that I purchased. Not too bad!

I've tried several LED globe bulbs and these are the closest to a soft-white incandescent bulb look you will find. I'm very picky! You have to look closely to determine they are LED. There is absolutely NO blue hue to them like many LED bulbs have. They are expensive, but worth the price. I will buy these again in the future - may even order another case to keep as back up!!
