Specifications

TUFFCLIPS C9 Shingle Clips slide over an installed C9 bulb, so you can install bulbs in your stringers before mounting the lights. The 360-degree rotating fastener accommodates either direction of the light string. An extended body and double-beveled tip help the clip slide between shingles and maintain a secure grip.

Under shingles, the bulb faces outward in the traditional roofline position. The clip also fits gutters, but this positions the bulb straight up.

Installation note: We advise against upright bulb installation. This orientation makes it easier for water to enter the socket, which can cause electrical shorts and corrosion at the socket and bulb connections.
