Left on their own, icicle strands, curtain strands and non-connectable mini light strings settle into a lazy S or Z pattern, and the first good breeze twists neighboring drops together. These light string weights fix that with nothing more than gravity: clip one onto the bottom of each drop with the included split keyring and the strand pulls taut into a straight vertical line that stays where you put it.

Each weight is finished in smooth white rubber, so it hangs quietly against siding, gutters, railings and pergola beams without scratching the surface or calling attention to itself. At 1.92 ounces apiece they add enough tension to straighten a drop and steady it in the wind while staying light enough for standard mini light and icicle wire.
