Ask anyone who hangs C9 line for a living what fails first and you get the same three answers: the socket shells crack, the bulbs cross-thread, and water sits inside the socket until something corrodes. PeakPro is the socket line that finally takes all three seriously, and it is a real step up from the Premium Grade light lines of years past. This reel carries 2,000 C9 sockets on 6" centers across 1,000 feet of commercial-grade SPT-1 white wire.

Tougher sockets. Built to last. PeakPro shells are molded from shatter-resistant plastic with socket walls twice as thick as a standard socket, so they resist cracking and breakage on the demanding installations that chew up ordinary light line. A close-fitting rim seats each bulb tight and helps keep water and debris out of the socket in the first place.

Better drainage. Built for the elements. Square weep holes drain faster than the round holes found on standard sockets, and four internal drain channels guide water toward those exits instead of letting it pool. Less water sitting around the contact points means the socket drains instead of collecting.

Less time threading. Faster installation. A self-centering socket mouth guides each bulb into straight alignment and lets it turn smoothly rather than cross-threading. It is a small thing on one socket and a real thing on 2,000 of them.

Custom cut. Clean finish. This reel is built to be cut to your roofline instead of hiding the excess. Trim the wire where you want it and finish the ends with snap-on SPT-1 male plugs, SPT-1 female plugs, or bridge connectors to join two runs (power accessories sold separately). Female plugs work end-of-line, or inline once you pop out the breakaway tab, and bulk SPT-1 white wire lets you build your own extensions and jumpers. Match your accessories to your wire type: SPT-1 wire takes SPT-1 accessories. Always disconnect power before cutting or assembling.

Every socket is an E17 intermediate base, so our full range of C9 LED bulbs, C9 incandescent bulbs and G50 globes screws straight in. Pair the reel with shatter-resistant faceted C9 LED bulbs and hang it with Peak Pro All-In-One Clips, C9 TuffClips Flex Clips or C9 TuffClips Wedge Clips, all of which fit the PeakPro socket. Please note that PeakPro sockets do not fit our standard 39032 All-In-One Clips; use the Peak Pro version or a TuffClip instead.
